Primer & undercoat for this colour

Intelligent ASP is Little Greene’s all-surface primer and undercoat, tinted to the paint colour you are viewing. Where it is available for this colour, choose Intelligent ASP from the Finish dropdown above, then select your tin size and add it to your basket. Your primer order stays linked to this colour.

The preparation your surface needs depends on its condition and your chosen topcoat. Read the Intelligent ASP product advice sheet ↗ and the advice sheet for your topcoat before starting.

Choosing your Little Greene finish

Start with the surface and how much wear it will get, then choose your sheen. Open a finish below for practical advice and the manufacturer’s English product advice sheet.

Finish and size availability varies by colour. Check the options on your chosen colour’s product page.

Inside your home

Absolute Matt EmulsionInterior walls & ceilings1–2% · very matt

A soft, almost reflection-free finish for bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms. This water-based emulsion is wipeable and gives walls and ceilings a calm, even appearance. Choose it for quieter spaces where the depth of colour matters more than frequent cleaning.

Intelligent EggshellKitchen furniture, walls, trim & radiators10–20% · low sheen

A washable water-based eggshell with a gentle sheen that gives joinery more definition than matt paint. Intelligent Floor PaintInterior wood & concrete floors35–40% · mid sheen

A water-based floor finish for wooden and concrete floors subject to light or medium traffic. A water-based high-gloss finish that brings a bright, reflective look to suitable woodwork and metal. Before you start: preparation, quantities & drying

Coverage is an approximate figure for one coat on a suitable surface. Allow for the number of coats, texture, porosity and wastage when estimating quantities. Drying times depend on temperature, ventilation and the thickness applied; surface dry does not mean fully cured. Follow the current advice sheet for your finish and surface before starting.
